WHEN ARE SHOWS COMING BACK?

Under the guidance of the city, state and CDC, our shows plan to resume performances beginning in September 2021.

PURCHASING TICKETS

You can purchase tickets on Ticketmaster.com, via phone at (800) 745-3000, or at the theatre box office (if open).

A NEW WAY TO ENTER

  • Digital tickets can be accessed and displayed via the Ticketmaster App. Make sure you download the Ticketmaster App (Download: App Store | Google Play) in advance to facilitate contactless entry.

  • To control crowd flow, doors will open at least 60 minutes prior to the event.

  • To minimize traffic, guests will be directed to recommended entrances based on seat locations - this information will be clearly displayed on your digital ticket.

THERE ARE MULTIPLE PEOPLE IN MY PARTY. DOES EACH PERSON NEED TO HAVE THEIR OWN TICKET ON THEIR PHONE?

You do not need to send a ticket to each person in your party, as long as you enter the theatre together. If you’d like each person to have their own mobile ticket, sending a ticket to someone is easy on Ticketmaster.

WHAT IS YOUR TRANSFER & RETURN POLICY?

Guests may transfer their tickets free of charge prior or resell their tickets if they purchased through Ticketmaster.com and are unable to attend on the day of the show.

For tickets purchased through Ticketmaster, Town Hall’s Patron Ticketing site PatronManager, or the Town Hall Box Office prior to Aug 6, 2021:

  • If the venue’s vaccine policy is in effect, 30 days prior to the show The Town Hall will open up a 7 day refund window and allow these ticket purchasers to refund their ticket(s)

  • If the ticket purchaser does not participate in the refund window and attends the show they will need to provide proof of vaccine at the venue if that is still a venue requirement on the day of the show

For tickets purchased through Ticketmaster, Town Hall’s Patron Ticketing site PatronManager, or the Town Hall Box Office after Aug 6, 2021:

  • For all ticket purchasers of new shows going on sale and new ticket purchasers of existing shows on sale, there will not be any refund window as fans are advised that they are purchasing a ticket where this Vaccine policy is in effect.

To request a refund for tickets purchased through the website or by phone via Ticketmaster.com, contact Ticketmaster customer service at 800-653-8000. For tickets purchased through The Town Hall’s Patron Portal ticketing site, which is PatronManager, contact Membership services at 212-997-1003 or membership@thetownhall.org. For tickets purchased through The Town Hall box office, contact the box office at 212-997-6661 or email them at boxoffice@thetownhall.org. Terms and conditions apply.

For tickets purchased from other sellers, please return to the original point of purchase for assistance with a refund.

This policy is subject to change without notice.

If you feel ill, or test positive for COVID-19, please do not come to the theatre, and contact boxoffice@thetownhall.org.

WHAT HEALTH & SAFETY PROTOCOLS WILL BE IN PLACE?

The Town Hall is deeply committed to the health and safety of our audiences, performers, and staff. Among many enhancements, we have now upgraded our auditorium ventilation systems with MERV 13 filters, created a contactless experience for guests entering the theatre, and established rigorous cleaning and sanitation protocols. Based on CDC and New York state and city guidelines at the time of performance, protocols may include contact tracing survey, vaccination or negative test verification, limitations on belongings in the theatre, proper mask usage, assigned entry times, contactless temperature check, social distancing, and more.

Specific health & safety protocols are subject to change but will be clearly communicated to ticket holders in advance of their performance. Ticket holders who do not comply with venue protocols will not be admitted. More details on our Ticket Holder Terms & Conditions page.

WHAT IS YOUR CURRENT VACCINATION POLICY?

Guests will need to be fully vaccinated with an FDA or WHO approved vaccine in order to attend all events at The Town Hall and must show proof of vaccination at their time of entry into the theatre with their valid ticket. “Fully vaccinated” means the performance date you are attending must be:

  • at least 14 days after your second dose of an FDA or WHO approved two dose COVID-19 vaccine, or

  • at least 14 days after your single dose of an FDA or WHO approved single dose COVID-19 vaccine.

Proof of vaccination must come directly from the healthcare provider that performed the vaccination. Guests can display proof on a smartphone or present a physical copy of their CDC Vaccination Card or NYC Vaccination Record. New York State residents, or anyone who received a COVID-19 vaccine in New York State, may present proof through the use of the Excelsior Pass (for more details, visit: https://epass.ny.gov). Guests may also present proof through the use of the Clear Health Pass (for more details, visit: https://www.clearme.com/healthpass) or the NYC Covid Safe app (Download: App Store | Google Play).

In addition to providing proof of vaccination in accordance with these protocols, all guests must present a government-issued photo ID such as a driver’s license or passport (guests younger than 18 may present a school photo ID).

This policy is subject to change, but will be clearly communicated to ticket holders in advance of their performance.

As of May 1, 2022, guests will no longer be required to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination to attend events. Masks will still be required to be worn inside the venue at all times until further notice.

WHAT IF MY PROOF-OF-VACCINATION IS NOT IN ENGLISH?

We will be accepting proof-of-vaccination for all FDA and WHO approved vaccines. If your proof-of-vaccination is not in English, please locate a Theatre manager for assistance at your time of entry.

WHAT IS YOUR MASK POLICY?

Vaccinated guests must properly wear a mask at all times while inside the building, except while eating or drinking.

IS THEATRE SEATING SOCIALLY DISTANT?

All seating is currently not socially distant. Should guidance from the city, state or CDC change, we will adjust how tickets are being sold.

WHAT OTHER COVID PROTOCOLS WILL BE IN PLACE?

  • Contactless options will be available for transactions upon entry and for in-venue purchases.

  • All auditorium ventilation systems have been upgraded to MERV 13 filters.

  • EPA approved cleaning products are used along with rigorous cleaning and sanitation protocols before and after every event.

  • Ongoing and frequent sanitization of door handles, tables, chairs, restrooms, surfaces... you name it!

  • All Town Hall employees are fully vaccinated and wearing masks.

Specific health & safety protocols are subject to change but will be clearly communicated to ticket holders in advance of their performance. Ticket holders who do not comply with venue protocols will not be admitted. More details on our Ticket Holder Terms & Conditions page.
