ABOUT

The Town Hall, recognizing the special needs of thousands of its guests, offers a range of accommodations, not only to provide comfortable access to the venue, but also to ensure that everyone comes away with the same indelible memories.

Fulfilling this commitment means ensuring that guests with special needs, along with friends and family, know how to avail themselves of everything we provide. Guests may purchase seating, based on their need, directly through the venue Box Office by calling 212-997-6661.  This includes, but is not limited to, wheelchair seating, limited mobility, and other special needs.

If a guest requires an accommodation after a ticket purchase has been made and prior to the event, please call The Town Hall's Box Office to discuss relocation options.  If you are at the venue, please visit the House Manager near the center set of Hall doors, or ask a staff member for assistance.

For concerts, comedy shows & family events, The Town Hall offers sign language interpreters to those guests who request such an accommodation.  Either the guest in need or a member of their party must request this service a minimum of two (2) weeks prior to the performance. This may be done via email at boxoffice@thetownhall.org or over the phone at 212-997-6661.

When you’re attending an event at the The Town Hall, please enter through the main entrance located on 43rd Street. Proceed through the lobby and enter the Hall through the doors as directed by our guest experience representatives.

If you need to purchase tickets, please visit the Box Office to the right of the most easterly entrance – the Box Office is located inside.  If you’re picking up reserved seats at Will Call, please have your confirmation number and government-issued identification available for inspection.

For those individuals who utilize mobility aids (wheelchair, walker, cane, crutches, etc.) and have tickets in their possession, you may use the most easterly entrance located closest to 6th Avenue for your convenience.

The Town Hall is equipped with elevators that access the mezzanine level for seating and accessible bathroom.  Any guest requiring the use of elevators due to a disability may use them to access all seating areas. Elevators are conveniently located on the West side of the main lobby.  Guests wishing to access Loge and Balcony seating can utilize special elevators from the West end of the lobby to reach their seating area. Please see any guest experience representative, security guard or elevator operator, if you should require any assistance.
