The Bright Lights of OriginAL Concert with Inva Mula (soprano) and Genc Tukiçi (pianist)

Inva Mula is an Albanian opera lyric soprano and is known for providing the voice of the diva Plavalaguna in the film The Fifth Element.  She has won many international awards and performed around the world for the past 30 years.  She has sung in Lucia di Lammermoor, La bohème, Manon, and many other productions, and also as a renowned Violetta in La traviata.  She lives in Paris and frequently visits Albania to both perform and direct where she recently directed the operetta Karnavalet in Tirana. Genc Tukiçi is an Albanian-French pianist and composer who studied at the Conservatory of Tirana and then obtained the Soloist Diploma from the Ecole Normale de Musique in Paris - Alfred Cortot, where he is currently a professor. His international career as a concert pianist includes the "Sommets Musicaux de Gstaad" in Switzerland, Salle Gaveau and "Salle Cortot" in Paris, at the Théâtre antique d'Orange, and CAMI Hall in New York City among many other venues around the world.  

All proceeds from this concert will benefit OriginAL which is a joint program of the Global Albanians Foundation and Germin. OriginAL connects young adults in the Albanian diaspora to their roots through a two week journey to Albania and Kosova.
