After months of excitement and eager anticipation, we have taken the difficult decision to postpone our Letters Live New York show until later in the year. We are hugely frustrated and sorry for the disappointment to our fans. However, we think that in the light of COVID-19 this is the right decision for our audience and everybody involved in the show. We plan to be back in the fall. All ticket buyers will be fully refunded.

Letters Live returns to The Town Hall after two phenomenal nights in 2018 which featured luminaries of the stage and screen such as Benedict Cumberbatch, Laurence Fishburne, Cynthia Erivo, David Harbour, Edie Falco, DeWanda Wise, Katie Holmes, Chevy Chase and Uzo Aduba amongst others.

Letters Live celebrates the enduring power of literary correspondence through live performance. On two unique evenings on April 19th and 20th a diverse array of world-class talent will breathe life into correspondence from all walks of life. Past shows have unearthed letters sent by the likes of David Bowie, Maya Angelou, Tom Hanks and Mahatma Gandhi.

Although the names of some of our dazzling readers will be announced in the run up to the shows, we never divulge the full cast in advance of the night. Both shows will host unique line ups.

The result is an event full of surprise and delight like no other. Prepare yourself for a truly unforgettable emotional journey through time and place. Expect the unexpected, safe in the knowledge that Letters Live will make you appreciate the humble letter like never before.
