ABOUT JORGE DREXLER
Uruguayan artist Jorge Drexler arrives to New York to present his new show "SILENTE" ("Silent") a special format that has been on tour for nearly a year now, for its first time in the USA. "SILENTE" is a special music proposal, in which Drexler goes over his extensive discography along with a dramatic mise-en-scène deep in emotional and visual meaning. This is an intimate concert - the opposite of Drexler's previous tour - "SILENTE" is a solo show in which the delicate scenography share the main roles on stage, as well as silence and sound does. This special tour, which is taking the artist to many countries, goes USA for the first time to perform at Town Hall (New York City, NY) on the evening of the 15th March. A unique chance to enjoy Drexler's music in a closer way. Tickets on sale now! “SILENTE” arrives after an extensive 13-month, 100-concert tour where Drexler and his band presented his latest studio album, “Salvavidas de hielo” [“Ice life-saver”], which went to 81 cities in 17 countries and has had an audience of more than 150,000 people Drexler was nominated for the 2018 Grammy Award and won three Latin Grammys in 2018.
