support town hall
Town Hall is a 1,500-seat, national historic landmark venue in the heart of New York City, created in 1921 by the League for Political Education, a suffragist organization to serve as an educational meeting place for the discussion of important civic issues. Since its completion, we have hosted countless musical milestones and groundbreaking performances that contribute to the cultural fabric of New York City. Income from Town Hall ticket sales only covers a portion of our annual expenses. We rely on contributions from dedicated individuals to help us:
- Present high quality artistic performances for diverse audiences at affordable prices
- Provide educational outreach programs in schools and underserved communities throughout New York City
- Preserve The Town Hall»s historic and acoustically perfect auditorium for future generations
