Maverick artist and musician Laurie Anderson and bass virtuoso Christian McBride collaborate for the first time in the commencement of Town Hall's new series, Improvisations.  One of the seminal artists of our time, Laurie Anderson innovates genre-crossing work encompasses performance, film, music, installation, writing, photography, and sculpture.  She performs with four-time Grammy®-winning jazz bassist Christian McBride, who has become one of the most requested, most recorded and most respected figures in the music world today.
