In this special multimedia event, HANK GREEN introduces and discusses his debut adult novel, AN ABSOLUTELY REMARKABLE THING, published by Dutton. All tickets include an autographed copy of AN ABSOLUTELY REMARKABLE THING.

You may know Hank Green as one half of the enormously popular Vlogbrothers YouTube channel, which he started with his brother John Green (bestselling author of Turtles All the Way Down and The Fault in Our Stars). Or you may know Hank from his years of teaching people cool things about science via his online educational video platforms Crash Course and SciShow (over 1.6 billion total views). You might also know him as co-founder of VidCon, the world’s largest conference for the online video community, recently acquired by Viacom. The Washington Post named Hank “one of America’s most popular science teachers", The Chicago Tribune calls him “equal parts comedian and humanitarian,” and Mashable dubbed him “the voice of Team Internet.”

A thoroughly original debut, An Absolutely Remarkable Thing grapples with big themes, including how the social internet is changing fame, rhetoric, and radicalization; how our culture deals with fear and uncertainty; and how vilification and adoration spring from the same dehumanization that follows a life in the public eye. Says Hank, “It's a story I've wanted to tell for a long time that was seeded by a lot of my personal experiences, but it's April's story, and it's been a pleasure watching her live her absolutely remarkable life.”

Hank Green will do a Meet & Greet with the first 100 ticket buyers! Only Hank will participate in the Meet & Greet. Hank will take photos with each fan via an event photographer only; no selfies or posed photos with personal phones/cameras will be allowed. The photographer will post all of the photos online after the event for fans to download. Hank will not sign any books or memorabilia during the Meet & Greet.
